The El Paso Exploreum Children’s Museum is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) that opened on Jan. 26, 2013. However, this interactive museum for children is built on the firm foundation of its predecessor, the private, for-profit Lynx Exhibits. Lynx was founded in 2006 as a first step toward establishing a children’s museum in El Paso, the only city among the nation’s 20 largest without one. The goal of Lynx Exhibits was to bring world-class traveling exhibits to the local community.
The El Paso Exploreum Children’s Museum offers a military discount of $2 off per military I.D. card holder and reduced children pricing.
