Join us every Friday night for an evening of music and fun at our beautiful outdoor fireplace. Bands play from 7pm – 9pm with DJ before and after. German American Run

Who’s ready for the biggest and best run of the year?! If you are, make sure you sign-up for the Fort Bliss 2015 German American Oktoberfest Night Run on September 12th! There will be a 5K fun run as well as a 8K official race. Performance t-shirts for all pre-registered runners will also be given out. There are multiple age categories for both men and women. Awards will be given to the top finishers in each. Prize drawings include a $1,000.00 travel voucher. Pre-register through September 11 at Soto or Stout PFC or at raceroster.com. $20 per individual or $150 per unit or corporate team.

Family Play Date

Join us for part one of our two part Despicable Me Play Date on Saturday, September 26th! The fun begins with a FREE showing (228 tickets available, one theatre) of Despicable Me at 10am compliments of our event sponsor E.P. Dentistry 4 Kids! Despicable Me 2 will be shown at the October 17th Play Date. Then following the movie from 11am to 2pm we will have free activities by the play area including a photo booth with Minion costume characters, a Minion art project, face painting and free snow cones!
Bliss, Brews and Que

Our 5th Annual Bliss, Brews and Que Food and Music Festival is set for October 9th and 10th at Freedom Crossing! Bliss, Brews and Que is the only Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned competition on a military installation as well as the official Texas State Championship for BBQ! This year, BBQ teams from all over the country will come to Fort Bliss to compete for $15,000 in prize money – our biggest award yet! Guests will enjoy two days full of great live music, food and beer tents, family entertainment and the world’s best BBQ with no admission charge! Registration is now open for Professional and Backyard (amateur) teams and if you are interested in competing in this year’s event please visit our BBQ event page to submit your application.
